A Mountain of Wool

We are back in the swing of getting ready for another show.  This time it is only a couple of hours from home – at the Cal Expo State Fairgrounds in Sacramento, California.

Here is a mountain of wool pieces soon to be stuffed into bags for the show.  Each bag weighs a pound and is quite full.  Now, the stash bin in the studio is empty.  I always go a little crazy when I get ready to design a wonderful new project and there is nothing to dig around for and use!  I hate have to use the “good” stuff to experiment with.  Soon the bin will be full again and we can stuff more bags for a stash for a happy person.

The weather is glorious here at the lake so the weekend will be great…enjoy yours too.

A NEW RedWork Design for Mom’s Day

Today I am finishing the final touches on the pattern instructions for a NEW RedWork design – ‘Friends and Family’ – to send off to the printer.  Next  the “real” photograph for the pattern cover needs to be organized and taken. 
These new RedWork projects are just in time for Mother’s Day on May 9.  Remember Mom and all the other favorite people in your family and circle of friends with a special gift!
Watch for the pattern coming soon in a Newsletter later this month and enjoy some quality stitching time for yourself, too.

Back to “blogging” again – finally!

I have no excuses at all for not playing on the computer and chatting with all of you!  I think of things to say and show you and then just don’t get around to it.  The blossoms on the trees are beautiful – my hill of bulbs are too.  For the last 3 days, the weather has been really “springy”.  We find it hard to stay focused on work while looking out the windows at the lake and all the beautiful blossoms and tiny tree leaves.  Oh well.

 

We are designing new things to tempt you with for this spring and summer.  Then, during the summer, we are switching to Christmas music in the studio to get us in the mood for inventing new holiday designs.
